Do I need experience to join a pottery class?

No prior experience is needed for any single session or beginner course at Mreed Pottery. The First Vessel wheel-throwing session and Still Hands hand-building workshop are built for complete beginners. Most people in the room have never touched clay before.

What is the minimum age for pottery sessions at Mreed Pottery?

All sessions, workshops, courses, and events at Mreed Pottery are open to participants aged 14 and above.

Where is Mreed Pottery located and which areas do you serve?

Mreed Pottery is a pottery studio based in Delhi. Studio sessions are held at our Delhi location. Corporate and event bookings through The Wheel Visit are available across Delhi NCR — including Gurugram, Noida, and Faridabad. Handmade pottery from The Studio Edit ships nationwide across India.

Can I buy handmade pottery from Mreed Pottery without attending a class?

Yes. The Studio Edit is Mreed Pottery's collection of wheel-thrown stoneware, terracotta, and glazed ceramics — all made and fired in the Delhi studio. Every piece is available to buy online and ships anywhere in India. Gift vouchers for studio sessions are also available.

1. Who we are

MreeD POTTery is a handmade stoneware and terracotta studio in Delhi, India. We run pottery sessions, workshops and courses, take private and corporate bookings, and sell handmade ware online across India.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "MreeD POTTery" mean [registered business name], located at [studio address]. "You" means anyone who visits our website, books a session, buys from us, or contacts us.

We respect your privacy and collect only what we need to run the studio well. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

When you book a session, workshop or course: your name, phone number, email, session date, number of participants, and any notes you share.

When you book for a group or company: the contact person's name, company name, work email, phone number and group size.

When you book for a child or teen: the parent or guardian's contact details, and the child's name and age.

When you buy from our online store: your name, delivery address, phone number, email and order details.

When you pay us: a payment confirmation and transaction reference. We do not store your card details or UPI PIN. Payments are handled by Phone pay. and Razorpay.

When you message us on WhatsApp, Instagram, email or our forms: your name, number or handle, and the content of your message.

When you join our WhatsApp broadcast list or newsletter: your number or email, and your preference to receive updates.

When you visit our website: your device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location and referral source, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

When you visit the studio: photos or videos, only with your permission (see section 5).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, such as health or financial account details, beyond what you choose to tell us. If you share a relevant note, such as an allergy or a mobility need, we use it only to look after you during your session.

We use your information only for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with those who help us run the studio, and only what they need:

5. Photos and videos

We love sharing what people make. We'll always ask before posting a photo or video of you, your hands, or your piece on Instagram, our website or in marketing. Posting is optional. Saying no has no effect on your session or booking.If you've agreed and later change your mind, tell us and we'll remove the content from our channels and let you know when it's done. We can't control copies already shared or saved by others.

6. Children and teens

For participants under 18, we collect information from a parent or guardian and only with their consent. We don't ask children for personal information directly, and we don't send marketing messages to children. If you believe a child's data was shared without a guardian's consent, write to us and we'll delete it.

7. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar tools to make the site work, remember your cart, and understand how people use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

8. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.

Booking and enquiry records: 2 years after your last booking or contact
Order and payment records: 5 years, as required for tax and accounting
Newsletter and WhatsApp list details: until you unsubscribe
Photos and videos you've agreed to share: until you ask us to remove them

After that, we delete or anonymise the information.

9. How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access controls, secure payment providers, and limiting who in the studio can see your details. No system is completely secure. If a data breach affects you, we'll tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

10. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
Ask us to correct or update it
Ask us to erase it, unless we need to keep it by law
Withdraw your consent at any time. This won't affect what we did before you withdrew.
