Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 01 Aug 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mreed Pottery website, the booking of any class, workshop, or private session, and the purchase of any product from our online store. By booking a session or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
Mreed Pottery is a pottery studio based in Delhi, India. If anything here is unclear, write to us at mreedpottery.com before you book.
2. Who Can Book
The minimum age for all classes and workshops is 14. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or have written consent on file with the studio before the session.
3. Classes, Workshops, and Private Sessions
-
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full, unless a deposit arrangement has been agreed in writing.
-
We ask you to arrive on time. Sessions begin as scheduled, and late arrival may mean less time at the wheel — we are not able to extend a session to make up for lost time.
-
Firing is not included in single sessions, with the exception of sessions where it is explicitly stated as included. Where firing is available for course participants, it is arranged separately and directly with the studio.
-
Working with clay involves your hands, water, glaze, and studio equipment including the wheel and kiln. Please tell us in advance of any physical condition, pregnancy, allergy, or injury that may affect your ability to take part safely, so we can guide you accordingly.
-
Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows are covered in our [Refund & Cancellation Policy].
4. Corporate and Private Group Bookings
Corporate workshops and private group sessions are arranged individually and may carry their own terms around group size, deposits, and cancellation, confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Where those terms differ from this page, the written agreement takes precedence.
5. Products and the Online Store
-
Every piece we sell is handmade. Small variations in glaze, colour, shape, and finish are part of the piece, not a flaw, and are not grounds for return.
-
Product descriptions and photographs are as accurate as we can make them, but because each piece is made by hand, the item you receive may differ slightly from the photograph.
-
Prices are listed in [INR] and are current at the time of your order, but may change without notice for future orders.
-
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for instance, if a piece is no longer available or if there was an error in pricing — in which case you will receive a full refund.
-
Shipping timelines, areas served, and delivery terms are set out at checkout.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photography, logos, and the Mreed Pottery name and wordmark — belongs to Mreed Pottery and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission.
7. Studio Conduct
We ask everyone in the studio to treat the space, the equipment, and other participants with care. Mreed Pottery reserves the right to end a session early, without refund, in the case of behaviour that puts people or property at risk.
8. Liability
Pottery-making involves physical materials, tools, and heat from the kiln. While we take reasonable care to run a safe studio, participation is at your own risk, and Mreed Pottery is not liable for minor injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings arising from a visit to the studio, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your booking or purchase applies.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
