Workshop
The First Vessel
Beginner Wheel Throwing Workshop
Our beginner wheel-throwing workshop — your first time centering clay and pulling a form.
Centering the clay, opening the form, pulling the walls. You will make something imperfect — and want to come back. Your piece goes home raw on the day.
2.5–3 hrs | 6–8 people | ₹1,500–₹2,500
Workshop
Still Hands
Hand Building Workshop
A hand-building pottery workshop — no wheel, no prior experience, no pressure.
Pinching, coiling, and slab building — three techniques in one afternoon. The most accessible entry into pottery, and often the most creative. Your piece goes home raw on the day.
2 –2.5 hrs | 8–14 people | ₹1,200–₹2,000
Workshop
The Colour Hour
Glazing & Surface Decoration
A glazing and surface decoration workshop — bring a bisque piece or use one of ours.
Brush, dip, layer. The same glaze looks completely different every time it fires — that is the point. Firing is included in this session. Your glazed piece is returned to you once it comes out of the kiln.
2 hrs | 8–15 people | ₹1,500–₹2,500
Workshop
The Surface Study
Tile Making & Pattern Workshop
A tile-making pottery workshop — roll, cut, and texture your way to a wall-ready set.
Botanical pressing, geometric carving, freehand marks. Leave with a set of 4–6 tiles. Your pieces go home raw on the day.
2.5–3 hrs | 8–14 people | ₹1,500–₹2,500
Celebrations & Events
A reason to come together.
Bookable year-round for your group. The space is set up for your occasion — we handle everything, you make the piece.
Celebration
The Celebrating Circle
Celebration Workshop
A pottery celebration workshop — for birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, graduations and any group occasion worth marking.
The space is set up for your group. Clay, wheels, hand-building stations, and a guided session — a piece each to take home raw. The person being celebrated gets the table at the centre. The occasion determines the energy; the clay gives everyone something to do with it.
2–2.5 hrs | 6–8 people | ₹2,000–₹2,500 per person
Private
The Private Evening
Anniversary, Date Night & Romantic Surprise
A private pottery evening — for anniversaries, date nights, and romantic surprises where the other person does not know where they are going.
The person arranging it books the session and tells us the occasion. We handle everything from there — lighting, music, a handwritten card at their station. When the door opens, they walk into something that took thought to arrange. The session is two to three hours. Both people at the wheel or at the table, making something together or something matching. Your pieces go home raw on the day.
2 –2.5 hrs | 2 people | ₹5,000–₹10,000
Wellness & Mindfulness
Slow down and make.
Smaller groups, quieter pace, more room to be present. These sessions use clay as a tool for stillness — not skill development.
Mindfulness
The Still Hour
Mindfulness Pottery Session
A mindfulness pottery session — clay as a tool for presence, not performance.
The session opens with five minutes of stillness. No instruction — just clay, tools, and ambient sound. You make whatever your hands propose. At the end, a brief reflection circle. Your piece goes home raw on the day.
1.5–2 hrs | 6–10 people | ₹2,000–₹3,500 per person
Stress Relief
The Unknotting
Stress Relief Pottery Workshop
A stress relief pottery workshop — for groups and corporate teams who need something that works in the body, not just the mind.
The session is intentionally physical first. Wedging, kneading, slapping clay — working it hard is therapeutic before it is creative. Then a shift: something is shaped. A bowl, a vessel, something that holds rather than spills. No performance required. No comparing. Your piece goes home raw on the day.
2 –3 hrs | 8–14 people | ₹2,500–₹4,000 per person
Digital Detox
Four Hours. No Phone.
Digital Detox + Pottery Day
A digital detox pottery day — four hours without a screen, with clay and people who chose the same thing.
Your phone goes in a basket at the door. Unguided first, then gently guided, then communal. You make a small vessel. You have chai with the group. You leave having been genuinely present for most of it. Your piece goes home raw on the day.
4-5 hrs | 8–15 people | ₹3,000–₹5,500
Art Therapy
The Held Form
Art Therapy Sessions
Art therapy pottery sessions — run with a licensed therapist, clay as the medium.
Run in collaboration with a licensed therapist. Clay is the medium — the therapeutic process is the purpose. Small groups, quiet space, no pressure to make anything in particular. Speak to us before booking to confirm suitability for the participants.
1–2 hrs | 4–8 people | ₹3,000–₹5,000

Common questions
Before you book.
Where do the workshops take place?
All Mreed Pottery workshops run at booked venue spaces or at your location. The clay, tools, wheels, and instructor arrive with us. You confirm the occasion and the date — we handle everything else.
Do I need experience to join a workshop?
No experience is needed for The First Vessel, Still Hands, The Surface Study, and The Colour Hour — all four are built for complete beginners. Celebration, wellness, and family workshops also require no prior experience. The instructor handles everything from the moment you sit down.
What occasions does The Celebrating Circle work for?
Any group celebration — birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, retirements, graduations, farewell parties, or any moment worth marking with people you care about. If there is someone at the centre of it and a group of people who want to celebrate them, The Celebrating Circle works.
What happens to my piece after the workshop?
Your piece goes home raw on the day — unfired clay, so handle it carefully and let it dry fully before moving it around. The Colour Hour is the exception: glazing and firing is included in that session and your finished piece is returned once it comes out of the kiln.
Can I book a private workshop for my group?
Yes. The Celebrating Circle, The Private Evening, and The Sunday Table are all private bookings by design — the space is set up exclusively for your group. Contact us on WhatsApp with your occasion, group size, and preferred date and we will take it from there.
